Uganda Trip February 2009

We returned from Uganda on Friday 6th February after an incredible time of partnering with the Holy Spirit for the Kingdom.  We want to thank you for your prayer and support during and after this journey as we knew the grace of God in all that we undertook and on every road that we travelled!  Uganda has roads without rules and can be quite a dangerous place at time.  But with the angels surrounding us, we were able to advance His Kingdom in many places.  

We both can safely say that this missions trip has changed our lives, that the cry of the poor and needy has challenged our lives and we will never be the same again.  We are trusting that many of you will partner with us in the future as we believe the Lord has imprinted Uganda on our hearts and we will be returning to serve there in the next twelve months.  We realise how blessed we are and how "much" we have and enjoy in the UK after seeing people without sufficient homes, running water, electricity and the basics that we take for granted.  We met many whose lives have been marred by abuse or poverty and we experienced the compassion of the Lord as we reached out to these beautiful people created in His image, who without Him really have no hope.
