"When
someone said that they believed many women in the room would own
their own business it was such an incredible confirmation to me."
In
the summer of last year 2005, I was becoming increasingly unsettled
in my work within the NHS. I worked as an Infant Feeding Adviser
at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham and, after discussing
the situation with my husband, decided to “hand in my notice”.
I
took the next 3 months as time out to hear from God and renew some
of my worn down resources.
Over
the Christmas and new year period, after a couple of avenues I had
been exploring closed to me, I decided to start my own business
as an independent lactation consultant. This has lead to a huge
learning curve of things I was sheltered from whilst working in
the NHS, however, knowing that it’s God’s idea not mine
is so good.
I
went to the first session of Life Success and it was like breathing
in fresh air. I felt it was being done just for me. When someone
said that they believed many women in the room would own their own
business it was such an incredible confirmation to me.
